Strawberry Shortcake Acropora Coral Frag

The Strawberry Shortcake Acropora is one of reef keeping's most celebrated SPS corals, admired for its exceptional contrast between vibrant pink to red branches, bright green growth and delicate cream-coloured branch tips. Elegant yet unmistakably vibrant, it has become a favourite amongst Acropora enthusiasts who appreciate colonies that continue to reward careful husbandry with remarkable colour and structure.

Its beauty isn't revealed all at once. As each branch extends and divides, new growth introduces fresh layers of colour, gradually building a colony that feels balanced, refined and full of life. Rather than relying on a single dominant shade, the Strawberry Shortcake develops harmony between contrasting colours, creating an ever-changing display that reflects the stability and maturity of the reef it grows within.

As the aquarium transitions into its evening lighting, the fluorescent pigments become increasingly vivid, accentuating the contrast between mature branches, fresh growth and brightly coloured polyps. Every season of healthy growth adds another chapter to the colony's story, transforming a carefully grown frag into a beautifully proportioned branching masterpiece.

Whether you're building a dedicated SPS reef or searching for a future showpiece, the Strawberry Shortcake Acropora Coral Frag offers far more than exceptional colour, it offers the satisfaction of cultivating one of the hobby's true classics through patience, consistency and expert reef keeping.
