Miyagi Tort Acropora Coral Frag

The Miyagi Tort Acropora is one of the hobby's most recognisable SPS corals, admired for its elegant branching structure, vibrant blue growth and striking lime-green polyps. Combining exceptional colour contrast with a beautifully balanced growth form, this iconic Acropora develops into a spectacular colony that rewards patience, stability and expert reef keeping.

Unlike fleshy LPS corals that create impact through movement, the Miyagi Tort captures attention through its refined branching architecture. Every new branch adds another layer of complexity to the colony, gradually creating a natural structure reminiscent of a miniature bonsai tree beneath the water. The vibrant blue branches provide a dramatic backdrop for the fluorescent green polyps, creating an unmistakable appearance that has made this coral a long-standing favourite amongst SPS enthusiasts.

As the colony matures, fresh growth develops at the branch tips, bringing subtle changes in colour and structure that reflect the coral's health and progression. Watching a small frag transform into a beautifully formed colony is one of the most rewarding experiences in reef keeping, making the Miyagi Tort a coral that grows in both size and character over the years.

Whether showcased as the centrepiece of an SPS-dominated reef or incorporated into a carefully planned Acropora garden, the Miyagi Tort Acropora Coral Frag offers exceptional structure, timeless colour and the satisfaction of cultivating one of the hobby's most iconic branching corals.
