Lobophyllia Corals

Lobophyllia Corals are among the most impressive Large Polyp Stony (LPS) corals in reef keeping, admired for their fleshy tissue, sweeping valleys and bold, sculpted appearance. Their distinctive ridges and folds create natural contours that resemble miniature underwater landscapes, adding depth, texture and visual weight to any reef aquarium. Rather than relying on movement alone, Lobophyllia captivate through their remarkable form, vibrant colouration and commanding presence.

From glowing toxic greens and deep purples to fiery reds, vibrant oranges and spectacular multi-coloured morphs, every Lobophyllia colony develops its own unique character. As healthy frags mature, their fleshy tissue expands across the skeleton, creating rolling ridges and intricate valleys that become increasingly dramatic over time. Whether displayed as a striking centrepiece or incorporated into a mixed reef, Lobophyllia add richness, contrast and natural structure that beautifully complements both LPS and SPS corals.

At ReefGro, every Lobophyllia Coral is sustainably aquacultured in the UK, professionally fragged, fully healed and carefully pest inspected before being offered for sale. By supplying healthy, established coral frags, we help reef keepers confidently grow spectacular colonies that continue to mature into living landscapes, bringing depth, colour and lasting character to their reef for years to come.
