Gold & Turquoise Acan Echinata Coral Frag

The Gold & Turquoise Acan Echinata is a beautifully coloured LPS coral, prized for its striking contrast between rich golden centres and vibrant turquoise margins. Its intricate colour patterning and fleshy, textured polyps create exceptional visual interest, making it a standout addition to any reef aquarium.

Unlike flowing Euphyllia corals, Acan Echinata draw attention through their incredible detail. Each polyp develops its own unique blend of metallic gold and vivid turquoise, creating a living mosaic that becomes even more impressive as the colony grows across the rockwork. Under blue-spectrum lighting, the fluorescent pigments intensify, highlighting the coral's remarkable colour contrast and intricate skeletal structure.

As an encrusting species, the Gold & Turquoise Acan Echinata gradually forms a beautiful, natural colony that hugs the contours of the reef. Its steady growth and exceptional colour retention make it equally suited to collectors and reef keepers looking to introduce something truly distinctive into their aquarium.

Whether displayed as a feature frag or allowed to develop into a mature colony, the Gold & Turquoise Acan Echinata Coral Frag offers exceptional colour, fascinating texture and long-term visual appeal.
