Pink Polyp Blue Branching Cyphastrea Coral Frag

The Pink Polyp Blue Branching Cyphastrea is a beautifully distinctive coral, celebrated for its vivid pink polyps scattered across an intense blue branching skeleton. This striking colour combination creates an almost jewelled appearance, with every branch becoming increasingly vibrant as hundreds of tiny polyps extend across its surface.

Rather than relying on large fleshy polyps or flowing movement, this coral captures attention through fine detail and remarkable contrast. The delicate pink polyps appear almost embroidered across the rich blue branches, creating a display that rewards both close inspection and wider viewing as the colony gradually develops.

As the aquarium transitions into its evening lighting, the fluorescent pigments become increasingly pronounced, with the bright pink polyps appearing to glow against the cooler blue framework. The result is a coral that brings colour, structure and intricate texture without dominating the aquascape.

Over time, the branching colony develops into a beautifully balanced network of colourful branches, adding height, depth and delicate visual interest to the reef. Whether showcased on its own or incorporated into a mixed coral display, the Pink Polyp Blue Branching Cyphastrea Coral Frag offers a unique combination of colour, form and understated elegance.
